What is the Cause of your Back Pain?

If you start to get pain in your back, then it is really important to know what the cause of the back pain is. Remember that pain is the body’’s way of telling you that something is wrong. You may not remember injuring your back, but your back ALWAYS remembers being injured.

You need to find out what the cause of the pain is because:

  • Diagnosis will help you understand what the pain is and why you are getting it.
  • It will help you choose the correct method of treating your back pain and help avoid unnecessary or more extreme treatment scenarios.
  • It will help you to reach a long term resolution of the problem and help prevent reoccurrence of the injury.

Your Doctor or Physiotherapist are there to help you figure out all of your symptoms and discover the underlying issue.

In my experience, I typically come across 5 different causes of back pain in my clinic. This section quickly introduce each one to better understand what might be the underlying cause of your back pain symptoms.
