Lifting Safely to Avoid and Treat Back Pain.

Injuries from poor lifting techniques are a common cause of back pain that I see in my practice. The important thing to know, is that these injuries can easily be prevented!

Often, a small change in your lifting technique - or doing a few exercises pre and post lifting - can eliminate lifting related injury and associated back pain.

So when you lift heavy loads, or even when you are lifting light loads frequently, you need to ask yourself:

  • How is your Lifting Technique and are you lifting safety?
  • Do you get tired of feeling pain in your back after lifting items for any length of time?
